"The Ayurvedic Immersion & Certification Program in India was one of the richest and most profound experiences of my life! The tour organization and peaceful setting of AVN allowed me to experience the vibrant beauty and culture of South India without feeling rushed or overwhelmed, and at the end of the tour I only wished I was staying longer.

I left with a deep understanding of Ayurvedic wisdom, and many new best friends, and can't wait to return!"

I’ve been immersed in western medicine all my life. This program opened my eyes to some of the simple therapies my mother and grandmother used to use to keep us well.

On this trip, I learned how to do Yoga with ease of body & breath. I deeply appreciated Dr. Gupta's steadiness, approach and ability to communicate the ancient knowledge of Ayurveda to the group.

Being a trained western medical doctor who spent most of her career running Emergency Rooms, it was refreshing to learn how to prevent diseases before they occur.

Most of all I cherish meeting the participants as strangers and leaving as friends."

”The two-week Ayurveda session at AVN Arogya Hospital in Madurai was an educational, therapeutic and tourism experience that I will never forget. It featured daily lectures on the principles of Ayurveda which were highly informative and practical. Patient presentations were included to help demonstrate the principles behind Ayurvedic medicine. After a thorough assessment by the chief physician, customized therapies were also prescribed for each participant.

These included amazing therapeutic massages, steam therapies, herbal medicines and, if warranted, various different forms of cleansing therapies. Treatments were delivered by professional and highly-trained Ayurveda therapists. Daily yoga and meditation sessions were also held and led by experienced practitioners. Several fascinating field trips to temples and a beautiful hill station and tea plantation were also organized.

My group consisted of people from various walks of life and parts of the world. We shared a common interest in Ayurveda and instantly bonded, enjoying many good times together and developing friendships that are likely to last a lifetime. Several participants are already planning a return visit. I came home feeling incredibly exhilarated and with renewed determination to incorporate Ayurveda principles into my day-to-day life. I highly recommend this tour and would like to thank the organizers for giving us all such a profound and life-changing experience.”
